Ministry Profile

Rob & Lyn Packer have been involved in Christian ministry and music for over 30 years. Both of them carry a catalytic prophetic anointing that brings release and shifts in the Spirit over churches and regions

Rob is a well known teacher, song-writer and worship leader, with many of his songs being sung throughout the world. He has written songs such as Victor’s Crown, No Other Name, We are called by the Name of the Lord of Hosts, Thank You Lord and Fan the Flame. Over the years Rob has produced a variety of worship ministry resources which include worship and soaking CD’s, a set of 5 DVD’s on playing keyboard by ear, a book entitled ‘Play Guitar In Any Key’, and a booklet entitled ‘Evaluating Music’. He has also featured as a guest writer in several books on worship leading.

Rob is a gifted speaker and has travelled extensively throughout the Body of Christ in New Zealand and internationally teaching in areas of Worship and Christian growth and discipleship.

Lyn ministers primarily in teaching and the prophetic, calling and enabling people to step into their destiny. Her prophetic gifting is expressed through her teaching, art, dance, story and poetry. Lyn also ministers powerfully in the areas of inner healing and healing drawing from the Word of God and her own life experience.

Lyn has written several books; one on dance, two volumes of poetry and 2 books of prophetic allegories called ‘Whispers from Heaven 1&2’.

Rob and Lyn have served in various churches over the years as both Senior and Associate Pastors. They have also ministered extensively to churches in New Zealand as mentors and consultants in the area of worship.

Outside of their ministry service Rob also continues to give individual Keyboard and Guitar tuition. Lyn teaches art in regular art workshops as well as holding her solo art exhibitions yearly.

In 2007 Rob & Lyn served in a volunteer capacity at Extreme Prophetic with Patricia King in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. During that time they were invited to join the team at Extreme Prophetic as itinerant ministers. Extreme Prophetic is an organisation that equips the body of Christ in Prophetic Evangelism as well as running conferences that train the church in the Supernatural power of God. Rob & Lyn are both accredited Pastors (NZ accreditation) & minister under the apostolic covering of Extreme Prophetic, Arizona, USA.

As a couple Rob & Lyn have the ability to minister in a variety of ways. The different facets of their ministry – the prophetic, teaching, worship, music, dance, art, poetry, storytelling, healing, and restoration – are a powerful combination of giftings that enable them to minister with sensitivity and passion in any church situation.
